Private Trader - My Portfolio and the rest of 2025

Alrighty, check it; so here it goes:

My Portfolio 2025

• +20% YTD (realized); expect +25% by year-end Dec 31 2025

At the moment, the market is not doing it for me and the need to rebalance is critical and almost alarming

Today sold 100% of all my:

• ABX positions due to insane run-up

Bought in:

• Added to 1 stock that now holds more than 50% of my entire portfolio
• This is a move I've never done, however a move that is backed by all my years of experience till date (started 2020, profitable on a year-to-year basis since 2022-current)
• This stock also provides a dividend of no less than 4%
• Will hold this position till approx Feb/Mar

Whats next?

• We're in uncharted territory, and being highly defensive is an approach I should take very religiously; for many reasons; in short, one being +20% realized YTD overall in the portfolio, and being extra defensive is the most prudent approach
• My positions are focused on:
• 70% Equities (stock A, B, C etc)
• 50% in one single equity
• 30% Long-term Treasuries (hedged)

Why on earth would ya put 50% in one single stock; well, quite simply, to me:

• A very defensive stock
• Beaten-up for many years
• Time to grow, hold, and sustain value over a prolonged period (+4 months)
• Current price-point is a joke
• Anticipating NO LESS than (10-20% profit in said timeframe)

And now, the only thing that has yet to explode, are treasuries; given the absolute decimation of the USD, the insane growth of GOLD, correlates to an almost perfect storm that'll lead the entire world into jumping into US treasuries; this of course, my personal opinion, and one that you should not in the slightest take to heart.
